Re: vMotion and large VM memory configurations

Indeed...

Our Software Architect and MSSQL DBA just wanted the SQL server not being the bottleneck in the chain.

1:1 VM / HOST ratio and a lot of CPU and memory.

This is going to run our main SQL DBs for our in house .NET developed tools. None of our DBs are taking this much  RAM, but still, limits will be set on the SQL side.

 

Now, I am reading interesting things on Software MMU, Hardware MMU and memory overhead... very interesting things on yellow brick :-)
