If you look in /usr/local/avamar/var/log/dpnctl.log, it should give you an idea of whether the services are "up" as a standard or if they are going down.
If your services are going up and down for some reason, it would be best to open a SR with support so we can pull a full log bundle and analyze that to determine root cause.
Things I would be concerned about would be if the system was read only - for reasons of capacity, or disk becoming read only.
