"Recently we had a network outage that affected out NFS vlan for several mins. I am being asked what's the default and/or best practice timeouts that will restart or shutdown a VM."
If it is a network outage and if your NFS datastore is affected then all the host will lose access to the NFS datastore, so the VMs will not restarted by HA
"Storage offline = This is the main one I am looking for. After storage is lost or offline for {x} amount of time VMs will ???{shutdown}... KB??? - I believe this is 180 seconds but cannot find it.
Anything else?"
Storage offline will not trigger a HA event. Only network isolatation and host crash.
