@weinstein5 it is 5 hosts and 50 VMs, as can be found in the install and setup guide: VMware vSphere 5.1

 

If you want to keep folder structure, permissions etc. have a look at the Inventory Snapshot if you don't care about historical data but want to save some manual configuration work: InventorySnapshot – VMware Labs

 

As for the SQL server itself: No clustering supported, SQL mixed mode authentication needs to be enabled and be sure to install the latest vCenter Server version for the use of dynamic ports. The database user needs to have certain permissions on Microsoft tables during installation and upgrades. You can find additional information in the official documentation here: VMware vSphere 5.1
